Ting Momo
This is a plain dumpling typically served with a datshi dish. It is a favorite among people in Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Serves 3-5 ppl
Ingredients
All purpose flour - 2 cup
Active dry yeast - 1 tbsp
sugar - 1 tsp
olive oil/ghee - 1 tbsp
lukewarm water - 1/2 cup
Directions:
1. Sift flour with salt and in a seperate bowl activate the yeast with lukewarm water and yeast and sugar, mix it with the flour and knead the dough, cover with towel and set in in warm place for 1 hour.
2. Spray steamer with olive oil and roll dough and twist it into a shape. Let it steam for 25-30 minutes.
